I'm (I can't believe I'm saying this) gonna travel across this great country one more time just to board this great ship. After I left her, I went straight to the USS Ike. That's when I realized what a fantastic ship the Midway is!

Hello, thought I would let you know that I too had nothing but great memories of Midway Magic. I served with VA 56 during the Apr72-Mar73 cruise. Again during 90-93 with the World Famous Golden Dragons. Also made the swap over with the Indy. Take care and keep Midway Magic alive and well.

I was in HS-12 from 6/84 (when we replaced HC-1) all the until we swapped over to the Indy. I was an AW aircrewman/rescue swimmer. I have many GREAT memories from my 'Midway Magic' years, and I pass along my very best regards to all of my former shipmates.

GREAT WEBSITE!

You have done an awesome job with the website. Even found a picture of my old workspace: http://www.midwaysailor.com/davestarr/davestarr-098b.jpg This is the communications center in the 02 level next to the Admiral spaces. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I scrubbed that blue rubber matting you can see under the teletype.

Keep up the great work!
