I was putting together something for my kids, to show them where I have been. I was an AN in VAW-115, arriving in November 1990. I have been on many carriers since but I still remember the MIDWAY like it was yesterday. Many good men served with pride. Great site, good memories!

Thanks for the great site!! I was an Operations Specialist second class for the final ride home to the US from Japan and got out of the Navy while we were getting the Ole' girl ready for decom. I truly miss the time I spent in the Navy! Thanks again for a great site!

I served in G-division 1965 "cruise". I would like to know what ever happened to the guy who drove off the flight deck into hanger bay 1 one morning about 4-am. I was one of the first one's there since I was on the starboard sponson deck with a guy named J. E. Lee. I believe the guy who drove into and down the elevator name was Jerry Terry. I know that the Captain O'Brien said he had his legs amputated. I remember the scene as if it was yesterday. I hope that Jerry is doing ok and has had a good life.

Ship's company, Operation Specialist 3rd class. I rode the tip of the sword into her final battle - Desert Shield/Storm 90-91 and skeletoned her final voyage back to the states for de-com. I will never forget the old grey lady!
